Watife Kitchen is the heart of authentic Nigerian cuisine in Calgary. Founded by a passionate cook with over 20 years of experience, our story is rooted in culture, flavour, and dedication.
After moving to Calgary in 2010, cooking became more than a skill - it became a connection to home, a comfort, and a caling. Over the years, what started as cooking for family and friends grew into catering, home deliveries, and now a full restaurant.
At Watife Kitchen, we believe food should tell a story. Our dishes are prepared with patience, love, and tradition. From our signature jollof rice to ayamase, asun, grilled fish, soups, shawarma, and more, every plate celebrates the true taste of Africa.
